Not just Futuro Luce

The Milano Design Week has been always the perfect occasion to experiment with creative projects, to look for new inspirations and to get to know international companies, which are involved in the Art and Design Industry. During the 2016 edition of these sparkling event, Futuro Luce took part in various projects related to arts and design, looking for customized solutions to enhance different shapes and materials under a special light.

Thanks to the partnership with the Architect Marco Merendi and the innovative interpretation of Rosario Parrinello, Art Director of Made a Mano Italia, Futuro Luce had the occasion to develop a lighting system able to combine together the artisanal handpainted pottery and the functionality of LED lights. In this way, ancient arts, design, and light melt pleasantly together and manage to decorate and give a unique touch to any environment. The Made a Mano Luce project, presented at the Agape12 showroom during the Fuorisalone, received several positive feedback and the visitors showed a lively interest in the collection. Here you can flip through the leaflet about the complete collection of unique handmade and hand-painted pieces.

Atelier Vierkant, a renowned Belgian company specialized in manufacturing vases and artifacts handmade in clay and terracotta, has involved Futuro Luce in the design of the lighting system of the Atelier Vierkant's exhibition booth at Salone del Mobile. The position and the type of the lights had been studied in order to enhance the shapes of the massive vases and the stone-shaped seats and to make stand out the peculiar texture and materials, which deeply characterize these pieces of design.
